That feels great

Last week, me and wifey were in trying to buy a gift for a friend, in a gift store.. and we saw this old lady hesitantly looking at us... and then she finally approached us...

She had a card in hand and wanted us to suggest and write something good in punjabi on the card... this card was for some friends of hers....who helped and cared for them a lot when they travelled up north. She asked us to see if we could suggest something which they would probably like and value... may be something from Guru Granth Sahib...

It gave both of us a great feeling of how someone values the relationships and small acts of goodness done...and it was really sweet of her to actually take pains to find out something that would make them feel good...!!

Wish we had more people like this than the cunning politicians that we have, creating unknown barriers and unimeginative issues for everything that can make them powerful and get something good for them..!!

Wow!! That's such a sweet gesture on her part. It is small efforts like these that makes so much difference in someone's life. I am sure the people recieving it will feel as good as you guys did.

You are right that its things like these that can break barriers between different cultures. Barriers that are created by politians and our religious leaders for thier own purpose.
